goes cruising with Ocean Village |
The
famous cat from the 1970's TV show is out of retirement to
entertain both children and nostalgic adults aboard the Ocean
Village cruise ships.
Ocean Village, which is known for its more casual, less stuffy
way to cruise has announced that Bagpuss will be the main
attraction in the Connexions bar on board both of its cruise
ships from October.
Passed a two week trial
The cat had a very successful two week trial and has been given
the go ahead for a full time slot for this season.
Cruisers will be able to purchase Bagpuss memorabilia and also
have the unique opportunity to have their photo taken with him.
A real wow
The head of marketing communications at Ocean Village has said,
"Bagpuss is going to be a real wow on board. He is a
fantastic addition to Ocean Village’s mix on entertainment
options, appealing to both young children and those adults that
remember him with affection from first time around".
No news yet on whether any of the feline's friends like
Professor Yaffle will make an appearance!
