Main Tourist Resorts OK
A spokesman for the FCO has announced that initial reports say that main
tourist areas won't be affected, he said "Foreign Office advice may
change in due course but as far as we can tell the main package tour
areas are not in direct line. Honduras and Belize are not major
destinations and although the hurricane may hit Mexico, it doesn’t
look like it will be Cancun".
For upto date information you can track the storm at the National
Hurricane Centre
and keep informed of travel information to the area at the Foreign
& Commonwealth Office.
