Southwest introduce new routes for 2008 |
The low cost airline Air
Southwest has announced that from 28th April 2008 they will be
doubling flights from Plymouth City Airport and also introducing
three brand new routes to Newquay Cornwall Airport.
There will now be flights available connecting Plymouth to
Newcastle, Glasgow, Dublin, Cork and also for the skiing season,
Chambery, which is a great gateway for the Alps.
Seats are on sale now from just £30 one way including taxes
from the Air Southwest website listed at the bottom of this
page.
Major expansion
Air Southwest chief executive, Jim Cameron said, "This
is a major expansion of Air Southwest’s year-round services
from South West England, doubling the number of destinations
available from
Plymouth
and cementing our position as the biggest operator out of
Newquay.
"We continually evaluate new route opportunities and we are
confident that our new flights will be popular with business and
leisure passengers."
One millions passengers
The airline which is now four years old has flown over one
million passengers since its launch.
