fuel surcharge raised again |
The price on all British
Airways air tickets will be raised Thursday 15th November.
Robert Boyle who is the airlines commercial director blamed it
on the forever increasing oil prices. British Airways fuel
bill for this year is due to top £2 billion.
What does the increase mean?
From Thursday increased on fuel surcharges per person will be as
follows -
£10 for one way short haul - £2 increase
£48 for one way long haul under 9 hours - £10 increase
£58 for one way long haul over 9 hours - £15 increase
It is feared that other airlines will follow shortly.
