Thomsonfly have increased
there presence at the regional airport at Coventry. Four
new routes have been added to the summer 2009 schedule
to Menorca, Zante, Corfu the Greek islands and Monastir
in Tunisia.

The airlines spokesman Mr Guy Stephenson said that its
exciting news for the airport, "The exciting new
introductions for next summer are in response to
customer demand for more unusual destinations", he
said to The Coventry Telegraph.
The news comes at a turbulent time for the airport as
there is currently a High Court battle over plans build
a new 10,000 square meter passenger terminal which could
double its current capacity of around 1 million
passengers a year.
Coventry Airport is served by just two airlines at the
moment, low cost carriers Thomsonfly and Wizzair.
A final decision regarding the new terminal at the
regional airport is due sometime within the next week.
