January 08 | New
cabin baggage rules for BMI passengers |
BMI airlines are introducing
some new rules on cabin baggage at six of its UK airports.
From Monday all business class and premium economy passengers
will be able to take two pieces of cabin baggage on board,
although economy passengers will still be limited to one.
These new rules will apply to Heathrow, Manchester, Glasgow,
Edinburgh, Aberdeen and Inverness airports.
Individual pieces of cabin baggage must be no larger than 55 x
40 x 23 cm and passengers should be able to lift their bags
unaided into the overhead lockers. Rules governing the carriage
of liquids remain unchanged.
