A brand new innovative infrared
parking system will be used at London Heathrow's new Terminal 5
when it opens in March 2008.
Due to the vast passenger numbers at Heathrow, parking can
sometimes be a nightmare and when you try to return to your car
it is nearly impossible to remember where it was parked!
With this new system an infrared camera will capture every cars
number plate as they enter the building. When passengers
return to the car park they simply enter their registration into
a car finding kiosk which will display exactly where the car is
parked.
Heathrow's Terminal 5 will be host to British Airways operations
along with numerous shops and a Gordon Ramsey restaurant.
