Blue nearly double profits

Virgin Blue airlines have announced 93%
profits increase in their annual report. Increased passengers
throughout the year has seen the airline make 216 million Australian
Dollars (£87 million pounds).
Now the 2nd largest airline in Australia, Virgin Blue is expecting to
increase even further, although they will be also increasing costs as
they expand into New Zealand and the United States.
A spokesman told the BBC, "The next 12 months will be a period of
steady expansion for Virgin Blue Airlines,".
A new longhaul part of the group will be called 'V Australia', which
will offer services between Australia and the US.
