British
holidays are still great
|
A spokesman for the British holiday
park operator Center Parks has defended the traditional British self
catering holiday after a scathing report by Mother & Baby magazine
in conjunction with Mothercare.
The report slammed UK holidays as been expensive and un-family friendly.

The Center Parks employee fought back, "We think it’s only fair
to point out that UK self catering holidays are one of the most popular
options for families and wanted to make the public aware that the
headlines focus on the negative aspects of UK hotels despite the survey
covering a wider range of British holiday choices.”
He also pointed out that the UK holiday market had infact increased
lately due to the recent problems of airport delays due to the extra
security and that more families are choosing to stay back in Britain.
Although the weather this year has been poor with record rainfalls
across the UK, main operators like Center Parks and Butlins are designed
to make sure that families enjoy their stay whatever the weather.
