Smoking Ban
|
TRAVELODGE has announced that all its
hotels will be completely smoke-free by January 2008.
The company will make all public areas
in its 318 hotels smoke-free in line with the nationwide ban from July
1, 2007, but will also ban smoking from all rooms completely by the
start of next year.
The move comes after research conducted
by the company revealed that 92% of non-smoking customers and 59% of
smoking customers were in favour of banning smoking in public places.
In addition to the changes, all new
Travelodge hotels opened from July 1, 2007 will be completely
non-smoking.
