During recent times alot of passengers have been flying lowcost airlines rather
than premium class due to the credit crunch and rumors are that the Queen has
now joined in.
More used to private jets and chauffeured cars than travelling with the general
public appears to be a lady remarkably similar to the queen boarding an easyjet
plane.
Buckingham Palace has refused to confirm or deny that the monarch chose to fly with
easyjet.
It is thought that the Palace have allowed the picture to circulate to demonstrate the Queen’s solidarity with her subjects who have been forced to cut back during the
credit crunch.
When easyjets founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou met the Queen in 2008 he was suprised
to learn how knowledgeable she was regarding his route network and he was
humbled that the Queen was aware that easyjet was the only airline that flew
direct from the UK to Slovenia.
