Abta launches Family Safe Holidays service

ABTA has launched a service to help
families store information in an online account in case of emergencies
overseas.
The Family Safe Holidays service,
available through the association’s 1,500 members from today, will be
offered free to customers during 2007.
As well as storing photos, the site can
hold medical information, travel itineraries, passport details,
insurance policy details and emergency numbers for credit cards.
Customers can also choose other details to input and email the itinerary
to their next of kin.
The service has been developed in
conjunction with communications specialist Community Alerts.
