Munich Travel Information
Set against the majestic backdrop of the Alps, Bavaria's colourful
capital is a city for all seasons.
Munich is a carefree city, perhaps most famous for its festivals,
especially the annual 'Oktoberfest' Beer Festival, although culture fans
and shoppers are equally well catered for.

Downtown Munich
The Munich mentality, which combines traditional Bavarian originality
and an almost southern European sense of joie de vivre makes for an
irresistible combination.
In architectural terms, Munich's museums are amongst the worlds finest.
The splendid Nymphenburg Palace with its park and famous Rococo hunting
lodge is not to be missed. Towering above the city's rooftops are the
splendid spires of churches in various styles dating back over many
hundreds of years.
Enriched by its ornate architecture, greenery, captivating hinterland
and capacity for enjoyment, Munich is a delightfully inviting city and
an excellent choice for a short break
