Getting There
Various flights from the UK to Malaga, Seville and Jerez de la Frontera are

Car hire offers convenience and freedom for journeys between cities and
once in a city the best way to explore is on foot.

In Cordoba, admire the 8th Century Mezquita (Mosque) and the decorative
azulejo tiles.

In Granada, the Alhambra Palace, jewel of Moorish architecture in Spain,
dominates the city.
Surrounded by vineyards, Jerez de la Frontera is the capital of sherry
production and home to the Royal Andalucian School of Equestrian Art and
the April horse fair, known locally as La Feria.
Ronda with its 330ft gorge is quite literally breathtaking and the
famous 18th century bridge still straddles the drop.
Must Do
In Cordoba, shade from the midday heat in one of the innumerable patios
decorated with flowers.
In Granada relax in one of the Arab tea houses in the Albaicin area,
visit the Cathedral, the pretty squares or many shops.
In Ronda admire the original Moorish mosaics of the Palacio Mondragon
and visit the bullring's museum.
In Jerez de la Frontera most of the famous bodegas welcome visitors for
tours followed by tasting and the opportunity to buy some souvenirs.
To Relax
Soak up Barcelona's cafe culture along the chic Paseo de Gracia before
sampling the local cava with a selection of tapas. Dine in the popular
Maremagnum area. The port Aventura theme park is also easy to visit by
rail from the city.
